The Nature Recovery Award has been set up in partnership with Horsham District Council’s Wilder Horsham District project and the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
The fund is available to support landowners and community groups wishing to put in place practical schemes to expand and improve networks for wildlife across the Horsham District landscape.
Applicants can apply for funding for projects of any size up to a maximum of £5000.
Applications will be considered for projects that include:
- Contribution to the Horsham District Nature Recovery Network
- Wilder Horsham District habitat priorities and nature-based solutions
- Wilder Horsham District geographical priorities
- Value for money
- Informed design and management of the works

Award application deadline
Applications should be submitted by midnight on Sunday 28th August 2022.
Applications will be judged by a professional panel and funding will be awarded quarterly. All applicants will be contacted whether successful or not.
