Households on a low income, which have a poor energy rating and do not have mains gas central heating, are encouraged to apply for new funding.
The Warmer Homes Consortium of local authority partners is making available new funding from the Government to help provide energy efficient upgrades to hundreds of homes across the Horsham District to help local residents save money on energy bills.
The fund will improve the energy efficiency of vulnerable and low-income homes that do not have gas central heating, typically often homes in rural areas.
The money will go towards improvements such as insulation, air source heat pumps, solar panels and heating controls and can save households up to £400 a year on energy bills.
The funding will be available from April 2023 until March 2025
