Thanks to a grant from Horsham Council’s Community Climate Fund, Sussex Green Living visited 10 Parish councils with pop-up Repair, Refill, and Recycle events. This has spurred Pulborough to launch their own monthly Repair Cafe, following a successful trial event in December.
There are now several Repair Cafes available in the Horsham District. Although Horsham District Council offers a free collection service for recycling small electricals and textiles, why not try to repair and reuse first? Repair cafes are run by volunteers who will try to mend your small electrical, mechanical and textile items, preventing them from being thrown away.
