Community Link Calendar

Knepp Castle Deer

Every year we create a calendar for our service users. The calendar can help remind them to test their lifeline pendant and smoke alarms every month and has suitably sized boxes to add daily notes.

The calendar is sent out to the District’s most vulnerable residents, who aren’t always able to get out and see the beautiful scenery our District has to offer.  We are often inundated with phone calls and letters of sincere gratitude, which  we always really appreciate.

The 2024 calendar competition

This year we decided to compile a “Best of”  Calendar, including photos that have featured over the last 7 years.

For most of these years the calendar has been designed and compiled by our colleague Kerrie, Senior Graphic Designer of the Horsham District Council Communications team. We asked Kerrie to choose her favourite photo for the cover and would like to thank her for all the time and effort she has put into bringing you the Community Link Calendar and Annual Report every year.

The 2023 calendar was "Wonderful Wildlife" and was won by local resident Adrian Hillman, with his beautiful image  of a deer looking over its shoulder.

Our 2024 "Best of" calendar was won by Phil Broggio with his stunning photo of a Nuthatch at Warnham.

You can print off the calendar and add your own reminders to every week, day or month for the whole year in one go. Or perhaps you have a family member you could do this for? Print it off, add reminders and important dates.
