Health and safety courses
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require that employees are provided with adequate information, instruction and training to ensure health and safety.
We offer training for the CIEH Foundation Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, a nationally recognised course accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health. The qualification covers:
- Health and safety law
- Health
- Safety
- Welfare
- The workplace and work equipment
- Risk assessment
- Manual handling
- Hazardous substances
- Ergonomics and workplace design
- Working at heights
- Transport and vehicles
- Noise and vibration
The course is 9.30-4.30pm in Horsham and includes a short exam at the end. Places cost £45 each including examination fees, a copy of the course handbook, and light refreshments.
