Horsham District Council has worked in partnership with market operators Food Rocks to bring you evenings filled with food, drink, and live entertainments every Friday throughout June.
Each evening will feature a theme celebrated by local performing artists and will also include pop up bars, street food and artisan produce.
The Friday markets will be open for business from 12noon, with live entertainment starting from 6pm.
The early evening openings provide a great opportunity to start your Friday night before heading out into the town, or for families and couples to come along and enjoy free entertainment over dinner.
Celebrating local performers from a host of different genres, the line- up so far includes:
2 June – Jazz Night
Jazzy band celebrating music from 1920-1940s.
9 June – Sea Shanties
Local sea shanty group from Shoreham-by-sea.
16 June – Sussex Day Celebrations

Commenting on the evening openings, Horsham District Council Cabinet Member for Leisure, Culture and Green Spaces, Cllr Jon Olson said:
I'm excited to see our events programme expanding to include early evening entertainments and refreshments on Friday evenings.
It will create a really enjoyable atmosphere for people in the town and marks a great start to the summer months, providing a platform for local performers and a boost to local traders.Come along to join the fun and I hope to see you there.
