Sussex Day

Sussex Day fell on Sunday 16 June this year and Horsham District Council marked the occasion by raising the Sussex Day flag at its Park House building in North Street, Horsham. The flag was raised by the Council’s Chairman Cllr Nigel Emery and Vice Chairman Cllr Tony Bevis.

On the evening of Friday 14 June crowds came out to enjoy Folk and Indie music from local Sussex band, The Troubadours on the Carfax Bandstand in Horsham. The sun came out and a wide array of drinks and street food was available creating a great atmosphere in the town centre.
