Horsham District Council is inviting local employers looking to recruit new staff, to book a stand now at this year’s Jobs and Skills Fair. Returning to Horsham’s Drill Hall for 2024, this popular event will take place Saturday 21 September 2024 from 10am to 2pm.
Whether you are an employer with job vacancies or are expecting to recruit in the coming months, make sure you book a stand.
The event will welcome hundreds of local jobseekers, providing them with the opportunity to meet local employers with current or future vacancies, and find out about training opportunities.
Over the years, the Jobs and Skills Fairs have supported local businesses to recruit new staff and helped many jobseekers to be matched with local employment opportunities. The Drill Hall can accommodate up to 40 employers across a variety of business sectors so there will be lots of jobs on offer.
Horsham District Council’s Cllr Ruth Fletcher, Cabinet Member for Local Economy and Place commented: “Horsham’s Jobs and Skills Fair has a successful track record supporting our local businesses to recruit new staff and matching local jobseekers with employment opportunities.
If you are a local employer looking to recruit new staff or are offering apprenticeships or training opportunities, book a stand and come along to this year’s fair.
Feedback from past events has been very positive, with local employers often returning to exhibit the following year. An exhibitor who attended the Jobs Fair in 2023 commented: “The organisation was brilliant, the welcome warm and everything was thought of!”
Training providers are also invited to book a stand, catering for people who are looking for a career change or to get back into work after a break.
Local employers, recruiters and training providers who would like to book a stand should fill in the online registration form by Friday 26 July 2024.
