Storrington and Sullington Neighbourhood Wardens, Chris and John, recently took a group of residents from their ‘Cuppa and a chat’ group to Squires Garden Centre for a pottery painting class.
Chris and John commented: “The whole group thoroughly enjoyed the class, and it was good to see new members come along. We plan to arrange some more trips to support the socially isolated residents of Storrington and Sullington.”
One attendee said: “I would have been sitting at home alone, it was good to meet up with others and have such a good time.”
The Storrington and Sullington ‘Cuppa and a chat’ group runs every third Thursday of the month from 10.30 to 12.30pm at Chanctonbury Leisure Centre. Both Wardens would like to thank Squires Garden Centre, Washington and the Rotary Club for their support for this outing.
