Celebrate the Christmas spirit and support local businesses by voting for your favourite sparkling windows and festive displays, in Horsham District Council’s ‘Christmas Magic Displays Competition’.
Place your vote from Monday 2 December to Sunday 15 December using the online form for the chance to win one of the following fantastic prizes:
- A thrilling and immersive escape room experience for up to eight people at Major Mindgames, Horsham.
- A wonderful tour, tasting and delicious lunch with a bottle of wine for two at Nutbourne Vineyard, Pulborough.
- An enjoyable bagel baking experience day for four with Jacob’s Bagels, Pulborough.
Some of the competition’s media partners are also offering a special prize for their readers or audience.
Participating businesses are displaying window stickers or tent cards using the competition's branding to let you know they’re taking part. A webpage gallery is also available on the Council’s website, showcasing all the magical displays you can vote for.
All winning displays will be announced the week commencing 16 December, with the winning businesses receiving some great publicity and a framed certificate to showcase their win. Your vote will determine an overall winning window and display. What’s more, this year the Council are collaborating with a range of media partners to boost the Buy Local Gift Happy message and promote all the businesses participating in the Christmas Magic Displays Competition. Each media partner will be providing awards for their favourite displays, supported by their readership or audience.
Commenting on the competition, Horsham District Council’s Cabinet Member for the Economic Development and Property Cllr Joanne Knowles said:
I am delighted we are running this Christmas competition for another year, to celebrate the wonderful Christmas displays local businesses create, which bring lots of festive cheer to our local towns and villages across the whole of Horsham District.
Each participating business will be getting some great district-wide promotion to help spread the ‘buy local’ message during the busy Christmas sales period to boost our local economy.
Please get involved and vote for your favourite displays.
