As part of a series of meetings with prominent local businesses, the Chairman of Horsham District Council, Cllr Nigel Emery, recently visited air filter manufacturer EMCEL Filters at their premises in Horsham.
EMCEL Filters offer a range of standard and custom designed filter elements and housings for many diverse applications. The company supply to a large customer base including Defence, Nuclear, Pharmaceutical and Telecommunication companies, with around 25% of their products being exported.
Employing 60 people in Horsham, their dedicated workforce is made up of a team of skilled local manufacturers, fully qualified scientists, chemists, and engineers. With a growing annual turnover, this highly successful company has invested in green technology including solar panels and hybrid company vehicles.
Cllr Emery met with Managing Director Dave Spraget and members of the EMCEL Filters Senior Leadership team to discuss matters of the local economy.
