Sandgate Park is a quiet countryside area home to important habitats for local wildlife. It has 22 acres of woodland, four ponds, five acres of heathland and two acres of grassland.
Get involved
Volunteers from the Sandgate Conservation Society and Horsham District Council’s wardens work together to protect the rare and endangered wildlife at the park and improve access and landscaping to attract new visitors.
Our dedicated volunteers meet on the fourth Saturday of each month.
