West Chiltington neighbourhood planning
West Chiltington Parish Council has prepared West Chiltington Neighbourhood Development Plan (WCNDP). The Plan set out a vision for the future of the parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally.
In accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning Regulations 2012 (as amended), the West Chiltington Neighbourhood Development Plan and associated supporting documents went out for consultation from 18 October to 6 December 2024 for 7 weeks inviting representations on the draft submission plan, basic conditions statement, SEA/SA and HRA assessments.
The submission draft WCNDP can be reviewed here: The West Chiltington Regulation 16 Consultation webpage. The Council will prepare for examination of the West Chiltington Neighbourhood Plan in the Spring of 2025. The Council will release further updates in due course.

Area approval
Under Regulation 7, the Neighbourhood Plan Area was designated in February 2014.

Application
Under Regulation 5 and 6, West Chiltington submitted an application for designation in 2013. The consultation took place November 14 2013 to December 26 2013.
