Order a new bin

You own your household waste bins. If you live in Horsham District, you should have:

• A green-top bin for general waste
• A blue-top bin for recycling
• If you are signed up to the garden waste service, a brown-top garden bin

We collect one general waste bin per household. If you require more general bin space and meet our criteria, you can apply for a larger general waste bin. You can buy as many recycling and garden waste bins as you like.

I've just moved into the area. Do I need to buy bins?

If you move into a new house, you must purchase bins for the property. However, if you are moving into a new house on a new build development, it is the responsibility of the developer to provide a green-top refuse bin and blue-top recycling bin.

Once purchased, bins are the property of the householder.

If your bin is damaged or destroyed by our household waste collection vehicles at the time of collection please call us on 01403 733144 to report it and we will arrange to deliver a replacement free of charge.
